Off The Beaten Path is a community arts and music festival in Villa Park, Illinois. We bring together independent musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists for performances, screenings, and hands-on creative workshops and activities. Our mission is to celebrate the artists and creators who forge their own paths, the ones you won't find on the mainstream stage.
Our Story
Off The Beaten Path started as a small gathering of musicians and artists in Villa Park, Illinois. A celebration of the creative energy that thrives just outside the mainstream spotlight. What began as a single afternoon of live music has grown into a festival spanning cinema, music, and visual arts.
We believe the most exciting art happens off the beaten path. Away from the algorithms and the arenas, in the spaces where artists take risks, experiment freely, and connect directly with their community.
Our Mission
We exist to amplify independent voices. Off The Beaten Path provides a platform for emerging and underrepresented artists to share their work with a supportive, engaged audience. Every performer, filmmaker, and workshop leader at our festival was chosen because they're doing something original, something that deserves to be heard.
