What is Off The Beaten Path?

Off The Beaten Path is a community arts and music festival in Villa Park, Illinois. We bring together independent musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists for performances, screenings, and hands-on creative workshops and activities. Our mission is to celebrate the artists who forge their own paths, the ones you won’t find on the mainstream stage.

The most exciting art happens off the beaten path, away from the algorithms and the arenas, in the spaces where artists take risks and connect directly with their community.

What began as a small gathering of musicians and artists has grown into a festival spanning cinema, music, and visual arts. But the spirit is the same: local, curious, community-made.
